Self-Reflection, Truth, and Justice: Navigating an Awakening

 

I conduct a daily ritual of drawing a divine oracle card paired with a tarot card, forming what I refer to as my divine oracle reading of the day. This reading includes bridge cards that offer additional insights between the two. Recently, I've noticed a connection between my readings, specifically those from yesterday, the 15th and today, 16th. I categorize them as part one and part two, respectively. 

Yesterday’s, theme centered on truth and self-reflection, encouraging honesty about aspects we might detest or shy away from within ourselves. The divine oracle word, "Truth," intertwined with the major arcana card, "Judgment," set the stage for a journey of facing our realities. Bridge cards, such as the Seven of Pentacles, Queen of Cups, and 4 of Cups, hinted at the need for patience, contemplation, and family ties in this introspective process.

Moving to today’s focus shifted to "Harvest" and "Justice." The overarching narrative emphasized the importance of reaping the rewards of self-reflection and facing the truth. The divine oracle word "Harvest" symbolized the manifestation of a new cycle, while the major arcana card "Justice" highlighted the equilibrium achieved by embracing our truths. Bridge cards, including the 5 of Cups, Page of Wands, and 4 of Cups (reverted), suggested that letting go of what no longer served us was a crucial step in this process.

In combining these two readings, the story unfolds as a continuous journey. It urges us to authentically embrace ourselves, unburdened by old paradigms or societal expectations. The collective message encourages us to be truthful, patient, and compassionate in our self-discovery, letting go of what doesn't serve us to pave the way for a new and elevated cycle.

Unveiling the Shadows: A Journey from Imitation to Self-Discovery and Love

I was reviewing some entries in my notebook and came across one about imitation.

The definition of imitation is the act of replicating or mimicking the behavior, appearance, or characteristics of someone or something, often with the intention of emulating or resembling the original.

In layman’s terms, individuals want to replace and/or be you. This mindset causes a being to live in the shadow, the result of the lost in the sauce of this world’s societal programming.

Society tends to put people (aka icons) on pedestals, that we then imitate in our daily lives. As a result, we dim our light so that theirs may shine brighter, a fall into the shadow. There is no need to exalt another being over yourself. You too can be just as bright, but you’ve got to do the work. You have to be willing to change.

Many times, those who imitate will call themselves you and then turn around and clown you for who you are because they have actually become the joke after all. They are not being themselves, but this is why we call it manipulation. For example, the message society has broadcasted to the black woman: she isn’t beautiful and she is the least desired out of all women. Yet, women of different cultures/ethnicities are cosmetically changing themselves to resemble a black woman. And this is a fact! This is manipulation at its finest. This will cause you karma (negative vibrations), dimmed light. This is an example of how people imitate you but turn around and tell you that you’re not worthy, yet you were worthy enough to be imitated.

Here is the thing, observe the situation and look to see yourself in it somewhere. Trust, you are in there. If it has your emotions tied up, then it is a reflection of you. When you find yourself in the midst, what is the first thing you think? A lot of responses will surface; you usually embrace it and shower empathy, compassion, and understanding, to then release that we are mere reflections of each other.

Pay attention to those people, places, things, and situations that draw intense emotion within you. These are not just negative emotions that I am speaking of; positive ones are also included in the equation.

Healing begins now that you asked the hard questions of yourself and looked at it objectively versus emotionally. This is when the answers will flow. They will not come from another recognizing truth for you but from you recognizing truth for yourself. You’ll know when you hit pay dirt. And eventually, compassion will flow and forgiveness and empathy. And this is the truth of discovering self and having self-love.

Celebrating Spiritual Growth with Radiant Joy

Embarking on the journey of spiritual growth feels like finding a hidden treasure within. Picture this: I'm the diamond in the rough, and each spiritual lesson is a facet being polished to reveal a brilliant shine.

In my world, spiritual evolution isn't a strict curriculum; it's a vibrant dance where each soul moves to its unique rhythm. As I share my insights about faith and celebrate the spiritual milestones I've achieved, I can't help but marvel at the intricate tapestry of our collective growth.

As I celebrate my spiritual awakening, I acknowledge that this journey is a perpetual fiesta. Each lesson is like a dance step, contributing to a higher understanding of self and others. Sharing these insights is akin to inviting everyone to join the joyous dance of spiritual growth.

3. **Virtual Joy Jam:** Set the stage for a virtual joy jam where we share spiritual insights, discuss experiences, and revel in each other's progress. It's a cosmic dance of connection and celebration.

These ideas infuse a bit of lightheartedness into the spiritual celebration, aligning with the joyful essence of our unique journeys.

The Magic in the Mustard Seed: A Tiny Symbol of Profound Faith

Greetings! Ever wondered about the incredible power hidden in the tiny mustard seed? It's not just small; it's a superhero seed! Join me in unraveling the story of faith, dreams, and a seed smaller than a sprinkle of pixie dust.

The Symbolism of Small Beginnings

The mustard seed, typically one to two millimeters in size, mirrors the concept of small beginnings. In the Bible, faith isn't about grand starts but the potential for growth. It represents the idea that even the smallest seed of faith, when nurtured, can blossom into something remarkable. This symbolism resonates with the human experience, where significant journeys often commence with modest steps.

The Magic of Small Beginnings

Think about starting something new, like planting seeds for a science project. The mustard seed is like that! God’s saying, “Hey, even if your faith is super small, it has mega-growth potential!” It’s like starting with a tiny pot of soil and ending up with a magical garden.

As the mustard seed grows into a substantial plant, so does the metaphorical growth of faith. 

In Matthew 17:20, Jesus says, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move.” 

Here, the mustard seed becomes a metaphor for the incredible transformative power of faith. The mustard plant, though starting small, grows into a sizable shrub or tree, illustrating the potential for exponential spiritual growth.

Growing Like a Superpower

Guess what? Jesus once said that with faith as tiny as a mustard seed, you could make mountains move! Not like superhero strength, but like your dreams coming true. Imagine planting this little seed of faith and watching it grow into something way bigger than you expected. That’s like superhero-level growth!

Resilience and Endurance

Mustard plants are known for their resilience and ability to thrive in diverse conditions. Likewise, the mustard seed as a symbol of faith emphasizes resilience in the face of challenges. It embodies the idea that true faith can weather storms, resist doubts, and endure through seasons of life, much like the hardy mustard plant stands resilient in varying climates.

Bouncing Back, Superhero Style

Mustard plants are tough cookies. They can handle all kinds of weather, just like how faith helps us face challenges. So, imagine this: your faith is like a superhero cape, helping you stand strong even when things get tricky. It’s not about being the biggest, but about being resilient and bouncing back.

Comparing Growth Potential to the Other Trees

Now, let’s compare our superhero mustard seed to some other trees we know—like the Oak, Palm, and Maple trees. Remember the growth percentages we talked about? Well, the Oak tree grows about 76,923%, the Palm tree about 19,900%, and the Maple tree about 49,900%. That’s like saying our mustard seed has some serious superhero growth potential at 153,000%!!!

Accessible and Inclusive

The mustard seed metaphor is accessible and inclusive. It speaks to people from all walks of life, regardless of their background or starting point in faith. The simplicity of the image makes it relatable, inviting everyone to embark on a journey of spiritual growth, regardless of where they begin.

For Everyone, Everywhere

Here’s the coolest part—it doesn’t matter where you’re from or what you’ve been through. The mustard seed is like a superhero friend that invites everyone to join in. It’s like saying, “Hey, let’s all plant our tiny seeds of dreams and watch them grow together!”

The SuperPower Within

Picture this: you, holding a handful of tiny mustard seeds. Each one is like a superpower waiting to grow into something incredible. You are that superpower, just as God chose the mustard seed to be our faith mascot, reminding us that even the smallest acts of faith can make our dreams come true. This potential is housed and stored within you.
